“The two dicing guards”.
Oil on oak panel dating around 1860, well framed and signature cut in the wood panel at the back. Panel size 12x10 inches. The panel has been broken but has been professional restored in the beginning of the 20th century. A most wonderful and very detailled painting by an important English genre painter who is recognized as a member of the Düsseldorf School. The painting and frame are in good condition.
