 Belgian School. Antwerp 1886-1935“Magnificent impressionistic landscape with cow and farmer”. Oil on canvas, dating around 1910. Excellent framed with the origianl frame and fully signed Louis Van Hoorde in the lower left corner. The size of the canvas is 40x32 inches. The painting and frame are in excellent condition and it is magnificently painted. This painting is museumworthy and rare on the market. Louis Van Hoorde lived and worked in Antwerp (Anvers) between 1886 and 1935 and was teached as a painter at the Art Academy of Antwerp. He became well known as a gifted painter of landscapes and flower still lives are most excellent and highly sought after. This painting is an extraordinary good example of his skills.
